What can I do at Imperial Tobacco?
About the role
As a Tactical Sales Representative for Imperial Tobacco, you’ll visit up to 15 retail customers a day. You’ll build strong relationships, advise on marketing activity and drive sales across your area. As well as being highly organised, you’ll also need to be creative in the way you sell to meet targets, because we work in a heavily regulated environment. Above and beyond this, you’ll also get involved in tactical projects, from new brand launches to merchandising initiatives.
About you
You won’t necessarily need experience of sales to join us. We’ll give everyone three months training when they join us. But it’s essential that you’re very motivated and very resilient. Outstanding relationship building skills are a must, too. You might be a retail or call centre professional. You could be a graduate looking for a challenge. Or perhaps you’re already in sales or merchandising. Whatever your background, if you’ve got the drive to succeed, we’ve got the opportunities. On a practical level, you’ll need a full driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points) to travel to meet your customers.
